It's useful to have a good map when planning your holiday to Spain, particularly if you are going to be exploring the countryside. With a map you have a better visual of the countryside and the best way to get from city to city. You will find the country's capital Madrid in the centre of Spain plus some magnificent mountain ranges. In this area you will find numerous small towns steeped in history and information about the Spanish culture. Close by the mountain ranges of the Sierra de Guadarrama, Sierra de Gredos and Montes de Toledo contribute a spectacular feel to this central area.

In the north of Spain you will discover tiny fishing villages, and the lesser known coastal resorts. Here you will be able to experience authentic Spanish life and culture more readily than in the larger cities flooded with tourists.
